Jack's masterclass will explore the role of the camera operator and cinematographer and look at what it means to work in the UK independent film industry. We will explore best practice working, career paths and aspirations as well as the importance of building your range of diverse skills to ensure you are always the right person for the job. We will look at technical aspects of camera work, understanding shot structure, lighting and working with the constraints of a limited budget. We will also discuss life on a film set, documentary film making and the why attention to detail is so important. Finally we will be looking at how to make a good first and lasting impression.
