The Boxborough Minutemen and Historical Society would like to welcome you to a special performance of "A Revolution of Her Own!", which features the life of the first woman to professionally fight in the American Military, Deborah Sampson.
"A Revolution of Her Own!" has been featured in the Associated Press, on WBZ News Radio, and in The New York Times. The production has enjoyed nearly 2000 runs since debuting in 2010 and performed Off-Broadway as an Official Selection of the United Solo Theatre Festival.
Presented by History At Play™, LLC, the performance is the first installment in a series that chronicles the lives of influential and often forgotten women through Immersive Living History Experiences. History At Play™, LLC was established by Judith Kalaora; a professional actress, award-winning playwright, living historian, and educator. Judith graduated Magna cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Syracuse University and completed the Globe Education Program at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre of London. After the program, you will have the opportunity to ask questions, first of Deborah Sampson, and later, of the performer.
