Inclusive and Impactful Governance
Description: Over the past few months, there has been a timely call for greater demonstration of organizational commitment to and capacity for putting a strategic lens on the work of equity, diversity, and inclusion. How organizations navigate change is becoming the hallmark of their success and sustainability. Understandably, Boards of Directors have become even more critical to the development of organizations. Directors often experience additional pressure to anticipate and navigate disruption while providing sound strategic guidance and generative foresight to the organizations they serve.

In this highly interactive session, Professor Nouman Ashraf will share 5 Insights for Impactful and Inclusive Governance. The webinar will allow the participants to dive into the practices and competencies of successful Boards, elaborate on the behaviours necessary to successfully navigate change, and explore the stance of leaders who have insisted on impact within their organizations.

Participants will make connections between one’s leadership stance, the relationship between strong preferences, and influence at the individual and organizational level. Participants will walk away with a clear understanding of what they can do to affect change within their teams and will also understand how they can collaborate to practice the behaviours of a highly effective team.
