Digital Talks: Building Ideas to Last

A two part series in which we explore interconnections of systems thinking, social and environmental impact, and business modeling for entrepreneurs in the Idea Phase and Startup Phase.

-The first session of our series will focus on strategic tactics to launch your business with impact in mind. Melisa Baez, Chief Program officer at ASSETS, will run an interactive session that guides entrepreneurs in the Idea and Startup Phase to design a profitable business model that helps solve a social or environmental problem.

-The second part of our two part series will be an open dialogue with the Author of “51 Questions on Social Entrepreneurship” and Founder and CEO of Innov8social, Neetal Parekh. This presentation and dialogue will explore the importance of integrating impact and systems thinking into your business venture at the early stages.
Guest Speaker: Neetal Parekh
Neetal Parekh is the Founder and CEO of Innov8social. She is a licensed attorney, with expertise in digital strategy and communications. She is the author of book “51 Questions on Social Entrepreneurship”, host of The Impact Podcast by Innov8social, convener of IMPACTATHON, and a frequent speaker, facilitator, and moderator on topics including social enterprise, social entrepreneurship, and ways entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, and consumers can engage in social impact. Neetal has been a speaker at Stanford Law School, Santa Clara University Law School, General Assembly, WeWork, Sustainatopia, SF+Acumen, and Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center, and has been featured in SSIR, GOOD, Horyou, Women 3.0, Social Entrepreneur Podcast, HeartBeings, The Good Radio Network, among other media.
