Let's Talk Nonbinary Part II: Challenging the Norms of Professionalism
Thank you to everyone who took the time to discuss A Quick & Easy Guide to They/Them Pronouns, by Archie Bongiovanni and Tristan Jimerson. If you're still interested in purchasing the book, you can find it here.

The conversation on how to best support gender non-binary individuals in the legal profession will continue on Thursday, October 1 at 2pm ET with a discussion of the following (free and short) articles regarding professionalism norms: (1) Non-Binary Lawyering: What’s Courtroom Attire? Justice may be blind, but people aren’t, by Ruth Carter; (2) The Problematic Politics of Style and Gender Identity in the Workplace, by Doreen Pierre; and (3) Why I'm Genderqueer, Professional and Unafraid, by Jacob Tobia.

Following a brief introduction, participants will engage in moderated small discussion groups in Zoom breakout rooms to gain greater understanding by sharing insights and experiences. The session will not be recorded and is designed to help NALP members learn how to better support non-binary individuals in the legal profession.
