NOSOTROS Education Center (NEC) will conduct an ONLINE McNair Proposal Writing Workshop (PWW) on June 17 and 18, 2021 (9 am to 4 pm - ALL TIMES CENTRAL).
This ONLINE workshop will provide the following guidance and instruction necessary for developing a successful McNair proposal:
1.) Need: Data Collection
2.) Budget & Adequacy of Resources
3.) Objectives: Required/Permissible Services & How High/Low Should You Go?
4.) Plan of Operation: Plan to Identify, Recruit, Select, & Serve Participants & Plan to Manage the Project
5.) Quality of Personnel: Qualifications, Requirements & Plan to Hire Eligible Staff
6.) Evaluation: Formative & Summative Methods to Measure Project's Success
7.) Quality of Project Design - Logic Model
Workshop Presenter: Elizabeth "Lisa" Retamozo, Executive Director, NEC
Ms. Retamozo has over twenty-five years of experience in the implementation, management, supervision, and evaluation of federal (TRIO) and state-funded educational and career opportunity programs. Lisa has a very successful record (90%) of securing over $467 million for new and continuation TRIO (TS, SSS, UB, UBMS, McNair, EOC) and Gear Up grant proposals for colleges, universities, and non-profit agencies.
