- This event aims to help social work students get familiarized with the legislative process in New York State, so that they can be effective advocates for social change through social policy.
- Event participants will be introduced to key policy makers and policy advocates in New York.
- Students will learn about current legislation aimed at achieving social and racial justice, and how to get involved in supporting policy change in this area.
- Come connect with social work students, faculty, and practitioners from across the state!
- Leave ready to engage in a productive advocacy with your local elected representatives
