At Roots, we know that parenting is hard. And we know that parenting alone is even harder. Our support groups are here for you to connect with others in a safe and welcoming space. Come join us. All groups will be held on Zoom to ensure the safety and health of our community.
Blossom Mom is a welcoming and nurturing space for moms with babies of all ages, all stages who wish to connect on the joys and challenges of parenthood while gaining wisdom from other mothers on the journey. Join us for a morning of connection, compassion and love.
We know it can be difficult to join a support group for many reasons, including the fear of feeling like a failure, but this group is welcoming, compassionate, and non judgmental. We are here are for you.
At Blossom Mom you can expect:
a friendly, inviting and trained peer-facilitator
a safe and comfy space that is peaceful and clean
other mothers who understand
to be heard and acknowledged
to finish your thoughts without being interrupted or judged
We use a peer-to-peer support group model that is both structured and unstructured, allowing for all voices to be heard and for those who wish to be listeners to be respected. All are welcome at Blossom Mom.
Common themes that come up during our group are, but not limited to:
-resources in the community
-how to reach out for help
Blossom Mom is facilitated by Suzanne Bendick, Certified Lactation Counselor, Postpartum Doula and Trained Peer Support Group Facilitator. If you have any questions about the group please feel free to call us at 406-570-0738 or send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
