Scotland’s Data Cluster Roundtable will focus on innovation funding for the sector.
Creating and nurturing tech businesses will be an essential part of the economic recovery. There are also many new problems to solve with data solutions. Innovation support can help Scottish businesses to form around ideas and needs, but securing funding is not always easy. Come along to find out more about what help is available.
This session will focus on innovation funding, but it is also an opportunity to provide direction to the data cluster. What else do you want to talk about and see covered in future activity?
At this session:
● Katy Guthrie, data cluster manager, will give a brief update
● Sara El-Hanfy, Machine Learning & Data Innovation Lead at Innovate UK, will talk about some of the upcoming challenges within the Data sector
● Tracey Ward, Scottish Enterprise, will talk about how the Funding Information Support team can help with funding applications
There will also be an opportunity to ask questions to the speakers. It will be an informal event to give people the chance to get involved. All welcome, whether you are part of a well-established data company, a start-up, or a not-yet-started-up.
