2021 UN Online Solutions Dialogues on Infrastructure Asset Management (Latin America and the Caribbean)
The 2021 UN/DESA-UNCDF Online Solutions Dialogues (OSD) is a series of workshops on how to manage infrastructure assets for sustainable development. The workshops will enhance the reliability and financial viability of existing infrastructure assets and planned capital investments and provide a strong focus on asset management basics, data, and crisis resilience, to support developing countries in their ongoing response to the pandemic and its economic and social ramifications.

The dates and times for Latin America and the Caribbean region are:
February 15-16, 8:00 am - 11:30 am (UTC-6): Introduction to Infrastructure Asset Management
March 2-3, 8:00 am - 11:30 am (UTC-6): Capturing data for Effective Asset Management Information Systems
April 13-14, 8:00 am - 11:30 am (UTC-6): Crisis-resilient Asset Management

Delivered in Spanish with simultaneous interpretation into English

Participants in all three thematic rounds of workshops will, upon successful completion of all course assignments, receive a UN certificate of basic knowledge of infrastructure asset management. Successful certification in basic infrastructure asset management will be a prerequisite for eligibility to apply for infrastructure investment funds from the UNCDF International Municipal Investment Fund. Certified participants are also eligible to apply for further UN/DESA and UNCDF technical assistance on infrastructure asset management.
