Using the Decoda Library’s Online Catalogue

Join Decoda’s librarian for a tour of the library’s Open Public Access Catalogue (OPAC). Learn how to find specific resources or browse the collection. Lea will walk you through requesting resources and the procedure for our easy and free returns.

We will also explore all the additional fun features of our shared online system. Come away with the confidence and knowledge to discover the resources you need.

Presenter Bio

Lea Edgar has been the librarian with Decoda Literacy Solutions since 2021. She has been working in the information field for over ten years. Prior to Decoda, Lea worked as a librarian and archivist in the heritage sector. She holds master’s degrees in Library and Information Studies and Archival Science from UBC and has a background in history and archaeology. Lea is passionate about helping people find the information they need and interpret it clearly and concisely. She believes in removing literacy barriers so people can pursue their dreams.
