There is correlation between poor workplace mental health and performance. It costs billions each year and significantly affects culture, reduces productivity, impacts working relationships and leads to turnover.
The good news is that, as a sector, we can take a proactive and preventative approach to workplace mental health. As we continue to adapt and show resilience amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, we can create environments which are safe, resilient and equipped to support the impacts of poor mental health.
