Design Task Force: The Treasure at 1616 Latimer

Our second speaker in the series will be Bill Whitaker, the curator and collections manager of the Architectural Archives of Penn’s Weitzman School of Design. Among the drawings at Penn are those of Edmund Gilchrist, the architect hired by the founders of the Cosmopolitan Club. The commission was unusual for Gilchrist; he was better known for his large homes in the countryside. How did this bold decision turn out? Bill will show us as he talks about Gilchrist and shares some of the drawings.
