CLS2021 Day Two - PARTNERSHIPS AND COLLABORATIONS: THE KEY TO SUSTAINABILITY with Dara Connolly, Chief Executive officer at Common Purpose
A Live & Open fireside discussion, exploring the opportunities of partnerships and collaborations across the private, public, and NFPs sectors. This session will encourage delegates to share and cross-pollinate what has worked and what hasn’t; moderated by Dara Connolly, CEO of Common Purpose Ireland. The session will open with Dara sharing his journey to date followed by an open session encouraging participation across all the delegates in a safe and confidential space under Chatham House rules.

This interactive session will be hosted on Zoom, where you will be able to engage with the conversation, have a voice, network with your peers, and take the next step towards building strong purpose lead partnerships.

Speaker Bio
Dara Connolly is CEO of Common Purpose Ireland, part of a global social enterprise, operating across 100 cities around the world with over 80,000 alumni. Its object is to provide inspiring and challenging programs for leaders from diverse backgrounds and sectors, allowing them to connect with each other, expand their perspectives and create real change in their organisations, societies, and as individuals.

Dara has had an eclectic career as a leader across a variety of worlds. As Executive Director of Recreate, a Creative Reuse social enterprise, he built it from an idea to an award-winning sustainable business employing over 40 staff. As Head of Business Development and Property of Temple Bar Cultural Trust Ltd, he managed a cultural and commercial property portfolio of over €120M, leading on landmark projects such as Culture Night, redevelopment of the West End and Ireland’s first retractable roof in Meeting House Square. In addition, he managed Financial Services of Technical CD sales for Microsoft, was Head of Partnerships for Young Social Innovators, and is involved in a number of diverse start-ups.
