Participants will increase observation skills and learn strategies on how to collect and organize evidence in order to complete the Desired Results Developmental Profile (DRDP) 2015. The DRDP Child Assessment Tool, created by the California Department of Education, provides guidelines for teachers to observe, document, and reflect on children’s early learning. Participants will gain support on how to set up a system of observation and implement strategies for developing children’s portfolios. Attendance in both sessions and some homework is required to receive the 7 hours of Professional Growth Hours associated with this training. Class is limited to 25 participants. Instructor, Joan Suflita, will confirm your participation prior to the training event and offer technical support so you can successfully access all training materials.
