On behalf of Advocates in Action RI, thanks for your interest in attending Rhode Island’s 2021 Statewide Self-Advocacy Conference, "Hot Topics and Cool Ideas"!
We’ll be hosting this year’s 2-day event virtually on Thursday, June 24th, and Friday, June 25th, and are thrilled to inform you that there’s NO COST to attend!
While registration is free, everyone who plans to join us needs to complete the following registration process:
Step 1: Answer the questions listed below to register.
NOTE: When entering your mailing address, please be sure it's your "personal mailing address". By “personal mailing address,” we mean the location where you receive letters and packages that are addressed directly to you. This is usually the same as your home address, i.e., the place where you live.
(Your personal address is different from a business address, such as the address of your current DD provider agency or the place where you work.)
We’ll use this address to send you conference-related materials, but please rest assured that we’ll keep all of the personal information you enter here confidential!
Step 2: Check your email for a confirmation message about a week or so after registering. This message will include a unique Zoom link registered to the name you enter on this form. Remember to save this message! You’ll need the Zoom link to attend the conference.
(Please note: Every person needs to complete a separate registration form so we can send each attendee their own unique Zoom link.)
The Confirmation email will also include information about the various workshop sessions and how to select the ones you’d like to attend.
Step 3: Follow the instructions we send in your Confirmation email to choose your preferred workshops.
