Cook County GFPP Annual Update
Cook County Department of Public Health, Chicago Food Policy Action Council, and members of the Cook County Good Food Task Force will discuss how Cook County's institutions are shifting their food spend toward Good Food Standards. We will discuss strategies being taken to ensure racially equitable outcomes, and actions the public can take to advance a more equitable food system. Jose Oliva from the HEAL Food Alliance will discuss the role public procurement plays in building a resilient and racially equitable food system.
