LEAP - Lunar Exploration Accelerator Program
Speaker: Erick Dupuis - Director, Space Exploration Development, Canadian Space Agency

On February 28, 2019 the Government of Canada announced a new Lunar Exploration Accelerator Program, or LEAP, with an investment of $150M over five years.

LEAP will support space technology development and in-space demonstration, as well as science missions. Its aim is to expand and prepare Canada’s space sector, including small and medium sized enterprises, for future exploration missions by conducting technology development, science and mission opportunities in lunar orbit, on the Moon’s surface, or further into deep space.

This presentation will provide the most recent information about the status of CSA’s Lunar Exploration Accelerator Program. Information will be provided on activities already underway, current and upcoming funding opportunities and the projects that CSA intends to conduct under the LEAP portfolio.

The presentation will be followed by a questions and answers period to enable CSA to provide as much information as possible and to accept feedback.
