2021 UN Online Solutions Dialogues on Infrastructure Asset Management (Asia-Pacific)

The 2021 UN/DESA-UNCDF Online Solutions Dialogues (OSD) is a series of workshops on how to manage infrastructure assets for sustainable development. The workshops will enhance the reliability and financial viability of existing infrastructure assets and planned capital investments and provide a strong focus on asset management basics, data, and crisis resilience, to support developing countries in their ongoing response to the pandemic and its economic and social ramifications.

The dates and times for the Asia Pacific region are:
February 23-24, 10:00am - 1:30pm (UTC+5:45): Introduction to Infrastructure Asset Management
March 16-17, 10:00am - 1:30pm (UTC+5:45): Capturing Data for Effective Asset Management Information Systems
April 6-7, 10:00am - 1:30pm (UTC+5:45): Crisis-resilient Asset Management
*Schedule change: Round 3 “Crisis-resilient asset management” will now be a one-day live workshop. This will take place on the 1st of the two dates originally scheduled. Please mark your calendars accordingly and keep an eye on our website (un-assetmanagementworkshops.org) and your emails for more information about the self-paced module that you will need complete in place of a live session on Day 2. Delivered in English with simultaneous interpretation into Bangla and Nepali

Participants in all three thematic rounds of workshops will, upon successful completion of all course assignments, receive a UN certificate of basic knowledge of infrastructure asset management. Successful certification in basic infrastructure asset management will be a prerequisite for eligibility to apply for infrastructure investment funds from the UNCDF International Municipal Investment Fund. Certified participants are also eligible to apply for further UN/DESA and UNCDF technical assistance on infrastructure asset management.
