On behalf of Jodi: We would like to acknowledge we are on the traditional territories for a number of First Nations and that we are gathered in Treaty 7 territory. The Bow Valley is within the traditional territories of the Ĩyãħé (Stoney) Nakoda, Blackfoot, and Tsuu T’ina from the east and the Secwepemc and Ktunaxa from the west, and lies within Zone 3 of the Metis Nation of Alberta. We do this in part to thank them for being the original keepers of this land for hosting us today and for hosting us on their land every day
