Robert asked what was my source of data. It was from the ACLU Lesson #2.

"For the better part of a decade, a San Francisco Bay Area drug ring sold tons of cocaine to the Crips and Bloods street gangs of Los Angeles and funneled millions in drug profits to a Latin American guerrilla army run by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency. [This drug ring] opened the first pipeline between Colombia's cocaine cartels and the black neighborhoods of Los Angeles [and, as a result,] the cocaine that flooded in helped spark a crack explosion in urban America." - Webb, Gary (August 18, 1996). "America's 'crack' plague has roots in Nicaragua war". San Jose Mercury News. Archived from the original on December 20, 1996.

I have an ulterior motive in asking. I am currently working on a report about equity in housing, and I am looking for the source of the data. It is one thing to say that it came from the ACLU, it is quite better to go to the source. I did check on line and found some source data.

Robert - I'd be interested in speaking with you about your work on equity in housing. That's an issue that's near and dear to my heart, and I've done a lot of work on it (including my Yonkers lawsuit).
