MacKenzie - how can an organization like the WaterFront Center get involved with siebel

The future of sailing is from community boating —

I like the values -- especially the personal responsibility, team work, and doing things right -- starting with caring for equipment, etc.

MacKenzie - Are most of your programs held at community sailing programs or do private clubs host as well?

any avenue to provide regatta support for the swivel sailors to compete in local events. Entry fee waivers, ground and coach support?

Stamford is thinking about this

Problem on LIS is that many clubs will not (or cannot) open their junior program to the community.

Could there be a partnership with Soundwaters in Stamford?

Local clubs do offer scholarships

maybe if there are some of these kids who express an interest in moving beyond this great program there could be a Yacht Club who could provide some select special kids with a special scholarship to have them join their club program at no charge. Change a life one kid at a time :)

Yacht clubs need to be the leaders in supporting community sailing

Does siebel provide support, I.e curricula, etc to organizations that want to introduce siebel principles?

MacKenzie has piqued our interest in tuning in to the presentation tomorrow when John Pearce will inform us how the curriculum developed by the Siebel coaches may become available to all through the Skill Up mobile app.

We're also falling short in a world of junior specialization -- not having kids sail with older kids or adults who can inspire and mentor them -- at club series, frostbiting, etc. Mentors make it fun and inspire the path forward!
