I am wanting to share but I also have tree people outside removing the fall out from recent storms so I am not sure you will hear me instead of chain saws...We are hosting our first Prevention Summit on Tuesday 12/1.It is a virtual event with target audience of schools administrators, township officials and other decision makers who can help get services where they need to be delivered. We only sent out the information at the beginning of the week and already have 50 registered so we are very excited!

We're doing ADAC @ Home for Philadelphian families. It's virtual programming that includes Wellness Wednesdays (SEL & Positive Action), Feel Good Fridays, and various evidence-based prevention education series. You can learn more at: https://www.linktr.ee/adacphilly The struggle we're having is getting youth and families to participate. Lots of families register for the program, but on the day of event, many of them don't show up. I really think families are "over it" when it comes to this virtual world.
Christina T (she/her)
43:53
agreed @Chantae -- I think it's just going to take over communication on our part to get parents to see the value
Deborah Sapin-Feldstein
46:45
yes - that is an excellent workaround that we have also used. Great share - Amy
Chantae Brabham
49:01
As Christina mentioned, how do we get parents to see the value of our services? ADAC communicates often via social media and email. I think after a while, the communication becomes overwhelming and they are probably tuning it out. These are some very stressful times for parents and families as a whole.
