Emuron, I hope you will share your presentation!
Neither here nor there, just an observation, but I think brands and by extension, their agencies are going to have to work MUCH MUCH harder to deliver powerful, compelling AND funny content after this. Here’s why, we’ve noted time and again, visiting social media pages, that there are loads of funny people, some delivering material funnier than what we’ve shared as brands and/brand custodians. Before the lockdowns, there was some visibility, but there were also loads of distractions. The lockdown has seen the number swell and the attention grow. A possible reason for this is the redtape some brands have, however, this may see people loosen up, giving more leeway to creatives to experiment. This period may have inadvertently set up focus groups for brand managers to see what sticks and what doesn’t.
Yikes, didn’t think it would be that long. Sorry
Thank you Emuron for the presentation
Emuron is eccentric. Bob Marley. Lucky Dube. Sankale. What's with the different colored mugs though?
I foresee the online entertainment being the next trend as soon as the entertainers figure out how to price their concerts... just the same way gyms have commercialised online work-outs.
Think about GoT and how it shows on HBO and then rolled out to other Pay TV channels (delayed). That might be the future of entertainment shows. Brands within this space an be offering tickets to these shows as a consumer connector.
