Home visiting is meeting with clients to assess their environment, plan and provide essential services.

Home visits were a part of my job as a peer counselor and it really helped me get a better feel for the culture.

Home visitor - Assess and plan for future improvements

That is a true statement, that I like! We certainly plan and set goals with our families and on all levels for improvement in family and child wellbeing. Thanks for that response

Nilsa Cogdell-So how would those without a bachelors degree apply for a home visitor position if the minimum requirement is a bachelors degree? Would our resume be considered?

The educational requirement vary from site to site and most would consider experience as well. I would suggest those that are interested contact the local agency.
