The variegated form is quite ornamental and grows slower in the garden, thank goodness

Janel, We use it here at the NC Zoo as an ornamental and a browse food for Elephants. Have you tried any of the bamboo varieties?

Questions: Loss of nutrition in our food is correlated with the increase of human diseases with aging like AD, diabetes, and Parkinson's Would be great to have studies that demonstrate that nutrition can be increased by approaches used by Laura and Martin. Do you have plans to do research with a focus on increasing nutrition in nutrition poor varieites of plants?

Question: Have you considered reaching out to local farmers to offer compost materials? At Union Grove Farm we have a challenge finding enough composting materials for our regenerative farm.

Dr Sabine Hazen is a researcher in the gut microbiome field and she is a proponent of regenerative agriculture and specifically use of compost in farm fields as a way to restore human microbiome and the ability of our bodies to process food and fight disease. So food from regenerative farms is not only about nutrition but microbes inside us as well.
