How long do they advise a vaccine drawn into a syringe is good for?
Heidi

Great question and we will answer this live. For Moderna vaccine and per the CDC awardee call yesterday the Moderna vaccine is good for 12 hours in the syringe as well. So as Andrea discussed the Moderna vaccine after vial puncture may be stored at 2°C and 25°C [36°F and 77°F] for up to 12 hours now. (up from 6 hours).

I was told I'd get an e-mail at the last conference but never did. How do I get on that list?

Hi Ashley, I am sorry that did not happen. Can you send me your email in the CHAT--look for Heidi Loynes and Sarah Davis. This way we can ensure that you are added. Thank you

We had a patient come in who received AZ in England for 1 dose and now wants to restart the series with Pfizer. I haven't seen any info on this type of situation. Thanks

Thank you for that update. We have already enrolled and are based in Detroit. How should we follow up regarding timing for receiving vaccine supply?

We are in Macomb county and were previously approved by MDHHS. I contacted the helath department today and no one knows how to help us coordinate vaccine administration. Is there direction as to who we should be speaking with to coordinate receiving the vaccine?
