How will these models address the priest shortage?

What are some other examples of collaboration other than consolidating churches or schools?

Having previously worked in a clustered parish, it probably has to do with what is reasonable in terms of distance for the priest to minister.

I think many of us with kids have had an accident or incident that pushed us to noon mass at St Michaels so know that's an easy drive. Maybe even more of us have had joint sports or other activities with IC

I hope that parking is being considered as well if there is consolidation or expectation that everyone goes to one parish.

Collaboration doesn’t mean closed church. It’s more about two parishes with one priest.

Both situations for OILP showed us grouping with all-green parishes, and two priests so it seems impact on available pastors wouldn't change much with either proposal
