Wheaten Webinar - Temperament and Rage Syndrome - Shared screen with speaker view
Who can see your viewing activity?
What about the dog that has "blank eyes"? The one that looks like it's either in the middle of a seizure or has been turned into a zombie?
I must mention that many don't understand that time out release when the behavior stops is appropriate with children as well.
Thank you Dr. Karen for showing this brilliant example of how humane treatment and building a relationship based on trust can change a dog’s life.
Thank you SCWTCA for putting on this webinar, and thank you Dr. Overall for framing aggression in this way. I have several SCWT clients working with their reactive/aggressive dogs, and we ONLY work with force free methods.
Agreed I only use reward-based, force-free for my clients as well. Wheaten Terriers thrive on it.
What category would a dog that likes to mouth/lick a lot in?

THANK YOU FOR THIS TOO! Why do people resist telling dogs that they’ve done well?! Why withhold this information?
Dr. Overall, hank you for taking the time and sharing your expertise with us all. I am grateful for the education. I look forward to watching the rest of the recording.
what is your experience with doses of the SSRIs or TCAs over time with an individual dog undergoing simultaneous training
Can we get a copy of the questionnaire.
I have a 3 month old wheaten and he is so crazy, he bites and jumps on my other dog who is a yorkie, and the yorkie gets upset - he also does the same to my cats, he doesn’t listen well when he does this - is this normal puppy behavior or aggression
what about dog-dog agression within the household
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience.
YES YES YES to the breed clubs working with someone like Dr. Overall to have official/formal temperament/behavioural screening. What wonderful expert input. So thankful for all this great information.
Thank you so, so much, Dr. Overall, for a fabulous session. We do need to form partnerships with veterinary behaviorists; that is a must-do for all of us.
