I use polling to approve minutes, etc. You can also "record" those. Super easy and saves time.

Is polling a zoom setting?

During a pretty serious meeting, the speaker's mic kept rubbing against his table. It created a terrible nails across a chalkboard sound that we couldn't track down for a while - it was horrible!

School districts still have unlimited times for free, I believe.

Lesson learned: Be aware of your mic position, haha!

We're doing a hybrid meeting platform.

It was rough at first, but our technology team came in and set things up so it's smooth now.

I didn't admit a board member to our board meeting because his name was listed as some alphabet combo and not his name. Thought he was a Zoom crasher. OOPS.

Haha! Oh no. That just gives more reason to make sure your name is accurate. I’ve come into a meeting as iPhone a few times haha.

I'm on a Chamber board that requires all Zoom attendees to keep the camera on to assure that they have quorum. Anyone else heard this or practice this?

We are in a rural area and experience “frozen” screens frequently. We have learned to continue allowing the individual “frozen” to resume when they can or to utilize the chat feature. Anyone have any other suggestions/strategies for unstable internet connections?
