Very interesting example. We did just get state funding to support a bicycle pedestrian bridge across 520 in this area! :)

Yes, ped signals are often not placed consistently and are not reachable from bike lanes, too.

Most crash reports include vehicle type

That's a big one for age friendly transportation. There are plenty of services that get people places where they *need* to go (doctors appointments, grocery stores) but that ignores social connection to the community.
