Curious how them not allowed to leave land fallow for a year interacted with schmita practices. Have you heard any stories about that?

I think Nina is referring to a line from the video saying the loan had to be immediately repaid if the land was left fallow?

I don't think shmita is a requirement in the diaspora?

For ex. I know my grandfathers family in Hungary had vineyards and I’d like to know more about that. Are there resources for doing that kind of investigating?
