Monroe County Covid-19 Coalition Meeting - Shared screen with speaker view
Who can see your viewing activity?
I’ll need to jump off early, too.
Penny - I've heard different estimates regarding when we expect "peak surge" in Indiana/Indianapolis ranging from "2-4 weeks" and recently with Governor Holcomb saying yesterday that "Peak COVID surge is expected to be mid-April to mid-May in Indiana." What are local modeling efforts suggesting we can expect in Bloomington/Monroe County?
So the warehouse on Hillside won't work for them for isolation at all?
I can address the shelter question in my update - two different needs in the community - isolation space for any person needing it, managed by Shalom but Shalom is also looking to relocate Friends Place given how crowded they are
Got it! Great. Thanks.
our executive policy group at IU is discussing potential facilities after some requests for space have come in, we'll be sure to update the group as necessary on that consideration
what "crews?" police? sanitation?

I’m jumping off for another meeting, but you are all awesome. Thank you for the updates and take care!
Good reminder for everyone: if you have anything that we need to get out to the community, please submit them on the website www.monroecountycovid-19.org and they will get posted.
Forward any engagement opportunity leads to the Volunteer Network at email@example.com
Still useful to hear reports from all sectors!
yes, they are helpful to us at IU!
It’s useful for me to hear what is going on in various sectors of the community.
I know there was some concerns about temporary housing for hospital and other health care workers to isolate themselves from their families.
Go team Monroe!
