Yes, you can enroll in the program if you are undocumented. In fact, we need you! You would be perfect for this program, given your lived experience.

The VIISTA program is 3 semesters -each semester leads to a certificate and training that prepares people to add value to the immigrant community. The summer semester starts on May 10th and runs for 14 weeks, in 2x7 week sessions. You could do the program for 3 summers in a row if you want to take all 3 semesters.

I think that point is key. There are lots of people who want to learn about immigration. Our role as campus leaders is to figure out how to best tap into that energy and hunger to learn tangible ways to help immigrants.

I work closely with many psychologists who assist us on our cases. Most of it is pro bono. Physicians for Human Rights is a great group - not sure if they offer funding, but they do conduct trainings.
