on my first trip to Oaxaca in 2010 - I went to a mezcal festival after the Guelaguetza. Of all the mezcals I tasted that evening, I brought back 2 bottles of El Rey Zapotec - both añejo expressions. Still have a little left in one bottle. I love you brand. Also have a couple of the older imported bottles. I love the brand.
The El Rey booth at the festival was very well run and someone there even spoke English. That surprised me. Can’t wait to try your new imports. 😃
Are you going to continue making the joven, repo and añejo versions of the expanding?
Espadín - HA - sorry about that!
small bottles- what I thought too, but reality is if people have money they buy the big bottles-especially now
I love the old Añejo. it is only 40 abv.
Sipping the old añejo now! YUM!
Did we see the new label? I don’t remember?
lots of small bottles in my warehouse
exactly same situation- rep Families, trying to figure out how to operationalize LIBDIB as best as possible- distributors won’t pick up new products for a while
My older bottles are not square. They are midway between square and tall.
I like the colors - different for each expression I imagine.
So - all expressions will be jóvenes? what will the abv’s be?
Time for a ensamble with mixed agaves from that field.
Susan is right about that. whatever the campesinos brought back on their donkeys.
Cuernavaca is Guerrero. Es muy peligroso - or so I have been told.
Another wonderful discussion. Thank you Susan and everyone involved. excellent!
Thanks Josh and Susan!
