53:41
Do you have defined outcomes of the Sub Regional Tables and groups that will be convened or participating?

59:23
Will the reports be made public?

01:00:20
May one assume, then, that the research will include subregional analyses and an affirmation that the subregions have been appropriately defined or should be redefined?

01:00:41
Emma Bush, SEMI Foundation

01:01:01
How will equity be included in your research?

01:01:32
Especially relating to racial equity

01:01:41
^+1! exactly-- I don't see EJ and equity and grassroots voices in the research agenda scope.

01:01:49
would be interested in including the Community Colleges planning, vocational ed, and student body trends

01:04:39
Ada! YES - high school technical education, as well. The Community College system in the Bay ARea is really trying to organize 21st century jobs training for the energy and transportation transition. Some unions are engaged, but workforce training and moving the contractors, builders, etc. to accelerate installation is essential.

01:08:09
Will the existing Bay Area Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) be utilized in the research process.

01:08:54
Will the research clarify the subregional economies and affirm or challenge the initial subregional delineation?

01:10:11
I think one overarching issue is the siloing of efforts and information which results in the endless duplication of efforts. This collaborative process, and staying on a data-driven path that is actionable will be essential.

01:10:49
"WHO" are the decision-makers in this research and the work of planning , mapping, and how can our make-up, leadership structure be more "Inclusive , democratic and grassroots governed? for example, what is the inclusive democratic process by which steering committee and other sub governing bodies are selected and couldn't we have a less hierarchical structure --more equality and voices ?

01:11:51
The Bay Area Equity Atlas would be a good starting point for leveraging existing equity analyses

01:11:57
How many sub-regions / sub-regional tables will there be?

01:26:37
How will community engagement strategies be decisded upon? Is that considered part of research scope of work?

01:26:56
ecided

01:29:12
Thanks Jay and team. I have to jump to next Zoom.

01:30:00

01:30:52

01:30:58
Will individuals with lived experience have an opportunity to participate?
