Thx for Lat / Long! Saves big headaches :-)
Send to Device is awesome as well
can you talk about camping how-to's for your sites?
Christina M Scarpitti
How about camp sites for bike paking?
Do you recommend tubeless tires for this part of AZ?
tubeless everywhere in AZ :)

I've bikepacked solo quite a bit do you all know of any group rides that run along these routes?
any routes okay to do solo?
When dealing with CBP have you ever needed to show ID?
Dirty freehub has a nice glossary of terms, like "double track", "baby heads", etc.
Any southern AZ bike club to connect with for gravel rides?
what sort of safety precautions do you take on these rides?
I think it’s okay to acknowledge that white folks may not have as many issues with border patrol.
Are you including info about camp/RV sites on your rides?
Boarder patrol at times drives fast on a "mission", so watch your line.
have you done any az trail sections
Do you carry protection ..i.e. bear spray etc
there is also a woman gravel cyclists group and has tagged people in similar regions
I've done Sahuarito to Gabe Zimmerman and GZ itself
KEITH - got one coming soon :)
anyone ridden Roosevelt Lake - I believe it’s partially gravel - 63 miles around the lake??
I ride solo but always check in before, after, and sometimes during a ride
you have an Apache Trail that goes to it right?
"Dog Dazer II, sonic deterrent" on amazon, works well if you point it right at the dog. And on some cattle.
Thanks for session. Good idea about group bike packing. If you need somebody to check out WA rides let me know. ;-)
So 38 size tires would not work well for AZ gravel in general?
right now apache trail is closed
you have to get to Roosevelt from the backside right now
can't remember the name of the road...
apache trail had a landslide. A rider did walk thru it early in 2020.
construction has been halted :)
Gene Tolli - CUNA Mutual Group
Andy: what is the name of that group?
Are there county maps online that are color coded to show types of road surfaces?
Unfortunately, AZ DOT does not have good mapping of gravel vs paved roads.
We have 70,000 miles of gravel and dirt roads in Iowa with county maps that are color coded
facebook is "Southern Arizona Gravel Grinders"
