38:17
Any indication from the Municipalities as to their positions on requiring COVID19 coverage?
Jennifer Pilchak
38:39
For the informed consent agreement for participants under 19, is the child supposed to be signing this document?
Lavaughn
38:54
The current waiver or informed consent from Softball BC does not have a place for an association to add their name. Does that mean they need to develop their own or different waiver?

40:21
apologies you may have covered this up front when I was trying to join. did you recommend incorporating as well as setting up a society? or is being a society the same as being incorporated?
LFA Representatives
41:01
I have a question about those of us that are registered as societies. Do we need to worry about our own personalhome insurance the same as those that are not registered as societies
Jacquie
41:03
if our Association is a registered society, do we need to incorporate?
Kyle
41:03
Could someone speak to the issue of umpires? They are not members of any particular association (sort of free agents). If someone were to sue them (including for non-COVID-related reasons), are they covered by the "Forever release and indemnify Softball BC..." clauses of the release?
susan.s
41:25
If someone decided to sue everyone, naming specific people, even if those people are part of a registered society, are those individuals responsible for their own legal fees? I would assume the first move would be to have them removed from the lawsuit but it can still be a large expense just for legal fees.
Jennifer
44:33
We've heard that waivers are not effective when signed by minors; will our new Softball BC comprehensive waivers going to be effective for our adult players?
Jennifer
47:33
more to Kyle's question regarding umpires …. as a lawyer, would you recommend that umpires seek additional coverage on their own, such as that available through NASO?
Jennifer Pilchak
49:45
Who else does SBBC expect to sign the waivers? Parents who might help on occasion? coaches?members of executive? Does this mean they all must be members of SBBC?
Jennifer
50:17
NASO - National Association of Sport Officials
