Manchin told the No Labels people the wanted them to approve the insurrection investigation bill so that he would get democrats off his back about HR1, which the No Labels people oppose for limiting political donations.

One of the many problems with the "talking filibuster", is that the party that supports the filibuster can tag team so that only a couple members have to be on the floor during it while the entire opposition must be present in order to maintain a quorum.

Tell us, Mike Weisman, about what you have seen. I support mail-in elections and worked hard for our county (Snohomish) to move to mail-in ballots instead of black box voting (computer-dependent elections). I think that our county may have been the first to switch to all mail-in voting. We did research and found that the discrepancies between computer vs. paper, mail-in ballots in recounts were much greater in wired black box voting machines.

I am in the Election Systems Reform camp and align with Katherine Gehl’s theory that getting away from partisan primaries and plurality voting will have the biggest impact.

It would be pretty hard to have worse elections than OH!
