From an article in The Nation Magazine, I learned that less the 4% of all vouchers in Seattle were used. How do we get citizens to actually use their vouchers? Most just thew them away or put them aside and never gave them to anyone.

Distrust of government is a recursive phenomenon. The less trust for example the fewer mask up and vaccinate, the fewer do so, the more government is proven to be ineffective.

Can you talk more about how you fund this program on a municipal program? Is it similar to a matching fund program, in that there is a pool of money sponsored by city/state that is then used and allocated to candidates?

Wouldn't disclosure of voucher use be tantamount to disclosure of how voters voted?

Michael, since you have multiple vouchers, you might actually give to more than one candidate - and since we don't have RCV yet you still can only vote for one of them.

I adored this article from earlier in the year where a writer found that folks were using their vouchers for multiple candidates in the same race! It’s well worth a read. Re-stating my question: Do you have any comparison** of the racial diversity of folks utilizing vouchers vs folks participating in marching gift clean elections programs?

I am a domestic violence survivor in the Washington State Address Confidentiality program, so my voting address is protected information- has accommodation been created for people in this program?

Is there any template for voucher programs where non-voting residents (non-citizens, young people for example) can participate in the voucher programs?

That is great for candidate outreach!
