People with less time on their hands (working folks often with more than one job and less free time) are more likely to use mail-in and to vote Democrat.

On the topic of book banning and burning: Robert Reich delightfully noted that books on the hot seat get read even more. Apparently, Maus has returned to bestseller status. We know it is the wrong thing to do, but it has the opposite effect than intended, often.

In some states can you imagine to get a mail-in ballot (absentee voting) you had to get your signature notarized!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah right especially during COVID!!!

Wisconsin had one in which a man voted his late wife's ballot, claiming that she asked him to vote for her, got no prison time.Ann Coulter intentionally voted in a district she no longer lived in. No penalty of consequence.

Changing the Supreme Court to require at least a 6 to 3 majority would be like requiring a 52 to 48 majority vote in the senate.

Congress critters can stop insider trading, they can make enough on lobbying after leaving office.

The two RCV (Local Options Bills) are not exactly companion bills - the Senate had an amendment added, so if 1156 passes the HOUSE, the bill will go thru the Senate and 5584 will not. But it would be a huge step forward if 1156 gets the House Floor Vote!

The electoral college might be more fair if it were limited to the number of comgessional members in the House and the number of Senators were not counted (438 electors instead of 538).
