Avanye, PCHC
23:46
When applying we currently note ER only on the application. Is there something we should note for this program?
Randie

Are the correspondences going out to pt's clarifying that pt is approved only for family planning/reproductive services and not full Medicaid? Are there age limits for these services?

For pregnant women in EMAC, will they have benefits extended for 12 months or just for the month of expected delivery?
Sarah Brantley
32:44
does that mean there is no age cutoff for family planning benefit? (since it doesn't follow MAGI rules)?

could we please get an example of what notices look like for family planning and reproductive health (letting clients know they were approved for each of these)?
Rebecca Rapport (she/her)
39:52
Thanks for that clarification Lisa. When did the opt-in start? We've heard of people getting letters saying they are enrolled in this program now, but they applied for Medicaid a few months ago.
Gary Meisner
40:08
I know someone that was suddenly eligible for this, and then their primary care provider refused to see them as they do not see Medicaid patients. Would their best option to stay with the same provider be to opt out of the family planning benefit?
Lisa Pera-CO (she/her)
44:18
This site should answer your questions:https://www.healthfirstcolorado.com/expanded-maternity-family-planning-benefits/ And additional information is available in the billing manual: https://hcpf.colorado.gov/family-planning-manual
Sarah Brantley
