Thanks for sharing that link!

01:00:03
Interesting that there was no “none of the above” on the quiz you just shared

01:00:27
Can we pick more thank one?

01:00:39
We will actually give you a chance to respond shortly

01:00:40
or all of the above - only allows one choice

01:00:58
I would choose none of the above, but that’s not an option.

01:01:34
None of the above would be our choice too

01:01:35
I, too, would choose none of the above on the survey.

01:01:53
None of the Above

01:02:50
I chose workplace because it is a very controlled space.

01:03:01
For survey - it depends, all of the above if proper protocols are in place, for example.

01:03:48
all of the above

01:04:27
I agree with Mark. I would do all of the above with mask, gloves and proper protocols.

01:05:11
All of the above if the protocols are in place.

01:05:14
Anything indoors with poor ventilation and for long durations is unwise until contact tracing is available. I’ve seen too many people shopping at the grocery store wearing N95s with visible gaps around their face to believe that PPEs are sufficient controls.

01:06:48
Highly concentrated populations including workplaces and nursing homes have experienced highest amount of cases. much of the shelter in place orders have been imposed on the wrong populations.

01:07:32
Please place your questions here...

01:11:23
The thing is, people aren’t following social distancing even when they are allowed to be places, so we are only as safe as the least careful person in the space.

01:13:47
Had a great experience getting my haircut last week!

01:14:31
we could only choose one thing so not a good poll

01:14:38
I didn't take the survey because it only let you choose one option

01:14:40
The survey is flawed. It only let us select one option.

01:14:48
very

01:14:56
the survey only allowed one choice

01:15:07
I agree. Could only choose one thing.

01:15:12
agree with Mike on flawed survey

01:15:17
I would have picked more than one if I could have, so that’s not my %

01:15:33
I think it would look different if we could choose more than one or none.

01:15:43
Old Crowd

01:17:32
It would be helpful to see the respondents grouped by age/education level/public health fluency since political party affiliation isn’t evenly distributed.

01:17:33
how about a MAGA mask😉?

01:17:52
It's already those not wearing masks outnumber those who are.

01:18:12
How do we start to bridge the gap - between republicans and democrats - on this issue?

01:18:26
I really reject my friends (on “all sides”) who suggest making masks that reflect their politics. Caring about not infecting people we don’t know accidentally because we are carriers but don’t realize it yet really should be non partisan.

01:18:49
I agree Brooke

01:19:18
Can you stop screen share so we can see the speaker?

01:19:49
I also agree with you Brooke - but how do get this issue to non partisan?

01:20:24
Agree, wearing a mask should be a on-partisan issue. It’s about being considerate of others and not wanting to infect others inadvertently.

01:20:25
We can't ask grocery store staff to police who is wearing a mask but 50% don't as I see it. Most are young.

01:20:28
Whats the best way to depolarize the mask wearing aspect? To get Americans to have more group/society concern rather than individualism?

01:20:51
This is a human issue, not a political issue!

01:20:54
Should children be wearing masks also? Some schools for young people are opening back up now with limited number of students

01:21:01
Is herd immunity the ultimate end-point? If so, how to manage the process of achieving?

01:21:03
Not one should endanger another person. Similar to "no shirt, no shoes- no service" No smoking... Why is it so difficult to respect the safety of others in public spaces and simply wear a mask?

01:21:14
Non-partisan issue i mean, a typo correction

01:21:32
I think if nationally the PR about masks were focused more on protecting OTHER people before we show signs would help. I

01:21:55
I AGREE With:From Mike Mancini (VCU) to Everyone: 08:49 AMIt would be helpful to see the respondents grouped by age/education level/public health fluency since political party affiliation isn’t evenly distributed.

01:22:00
What are Bob's thoughts on a second Fall wave?

01:22:41
@Lud personally I feel that I’d like to wait to get the virus til after it is better understood and there are consistent, scientifically reliable protocols in place for treatment.

01:22:41
Our business (a winery) requires guests to wear masks when not seated at their table. Interesting industry learning: guests are selecting where to go based on whether masks are required or not. We had a lot of feedback during week 1 that guests LEFT places where they did not feel safe — so we feel good about our decision, even if it costs us business.

01:22:54
So...….Wouldn't a Rep. Encorepreneur make more money marketing BIDEN masks....?

01:23:03
What about the ambiguous news of a mutation of Covid-19? Is this real? If so, potential implications?

01:24:06
Montana opened some schools last week with social distancing so we can learn from them as well as Sweden, Austria and Germany who have all opened their K-12 schools

01:24:10
Sad that even Covid 19 issues are politicized. No wonder we have difficulty moving pass politics in most issues today.

01:24:24
Question for Bob: How do you feel VA is doing in terms of testing, transparency in reporting testing results, and letting data and objective criteria guide decisions around reopening?

01:25:50
Janet - so very true.

01:27:41
My apologies if I missed this, but how reliable ARE the tests?

01:28:16
Virginia can learn from other areas, countries, etc. but only to the extent in which they isolated during the past months. Some States were more open than others. Learning from those that were more strict will not necessarily help us in our area. We have not observed as strict of a stay at home order as other areas. Given that, we may not have as favorable results when opening back up as those other areas who observed a much more strict order.

01:28:26
I wonder, since half of our cases were in prisons and nursing homes, if it was worth it to destroy our small businesses and those families. My vote, as an older person, is no.

01:29:01
Linda

01:29:02
Virginia’s testing conflates alive infection with previous exposure. Proper testing segregates these data.

01:29:09
The longer term mental health impact of isolation is yet to be seen.

01:29:26
Truth, Wayne. This is NOT easy!

01:29:31
Linda - absolutely agree

01:29:44
Need to leave for an industry call; THANK YOU Bob — as always, you bring clarity to murkiness! And so good to see my RVA peeps! Be well, friends!

01:30:17
“thank you” Linda Walker

01:30:28
Commercial businesses are going to have to require masks in order to enter their establishments

01:30:34
Thinking out of the box, Bob’s graph showed a contrast in attitudes. Optimism vs. pessimism.

01:30:44
Another great session - thank you Bob, Stan and team!

01:31:03
optimism vs. pessimism and different news sources

01:31:03
excellent presentation

01:31:07
Thank you Need to jump on a call

01:31:12
Thank you all and Mr. Gupton. Love your idea.

01:31:13
Yes, Thank you, Bob, and Stan and his team.

01:31:21
Very informative, thank you!

01:31:29
Thank yuou, this has been very informative

01:31:42
Thank you. A great session!

01:31:47
Thank You all - well done presentation!! Good to hear from you Bob!!

01:32:16
Thank you! Very interesting and informative.

01:32:39
Great session! Thanks, Bob and Stan!

01:32:45
This is not an issue of optimism or pessimism, this is a scientific issue, and we are treating it like a political issue.

01:33:04
IHME model

01:33:27
common sense policies should be addressed to everyone

01:33:37
IHME model has been far less than accurate

01:33:52
Also people are reinfecting so the herd immunity may not be accurate

01:34:00
Thanks to Stan and your excellent team

01:35:04
Are people reinfecting? I have heard different information on that front. Is there reliable, scientifically documented evidence about reinfection rates?

01:35:05
Yes. agree. Common sense policies based on scientific data.and not make it a political issue.

01:35:48
They used cellphone tracing in Haiti to control the cholera epidemic there years ago.

01:36:21
How has Dr. Fauci’s multiple positions negatively impacted the economic and political landscape across the country?

01:37:51
allsides.com is a very interesting site for accessing news from a variety of perspectives. If you read HOW they determine what is on each “side,” you’ll find it interesting, too.

01:39:06
Hats of to Encorepreneur, Stan and your team. Thanks to all for an informative update.

01:39:26
As a physician, Dr. Fauci should have stayed in his lane and not allow politicians to try and bend the facts to support their positions. which means, he should only point out the Medicsl facts, accepted public health measures and not what politicians think.

01:41:52
We are hearing "1984" frequently, and not with regards to Wonder Woman!

01:41:53
Bob, you said that our majority of cases were in LTC facilities and prisons. Some people may wonder if all of this social distancing and business closings were really necessary for the rest of us creating such economic devastation. But is it not true that had we not put these guidelines in place our numbers would have been so much higher

01:43:59
Thanks so much for a fascinating presentation. Gotta go

01:47:05
Thank you Dr. Holsworth, Stan, Ellen and all. Excellent info!

01:47:16
