What ideas are recommended to get student ambassadors involved in the recruitment/cultivation process. PGCPS has over 300 students in Teacher Preparation programs, i.e., "grow your own"
Teacher employers are competing with 15,000 public school districts and thousands of private school for talent. It's SO important to find ways to highlight what makes you special!

@Sehr or anyone else that would be able to answer. Has anyone successfully accomplished a performance task over tech. Obviously much easier when recruiting our support staff roles but I was wondering if anyone has been able to narrow in an effective performance task for incoming teachers.

Another virtual performance idea: Have candidates watch a classroom lesson video (from our district or another district) and engage in a conversation with candidate on questions such as: 1. What the teacher did do well? 2. How did the teacher align content to the standard? 3.. How did the teacher help students master the content? 4. How would you teach this lesson differently? (Create a rubric to assess responses.)
