There is an argument, I heard it again Sunday, that could be summed up as a sort of Social Darwinism...the virus is simply taking the weak. Is that what we can count on for the future? "We" strong will make it but woe to the weak?

What would your recommendation be for congregations coming back together to worship? Bottom line...

Is herd immunity something we can scientifically rely on? What do you see as the realistic way out of this?

How do you think these viruses and pandemics will change the landscape of long-term care? We will still be a le to care for our older adults in congregate care settings?

Since we don't know if or at least how long immunity lasts from this infection, do we know herd immunity will work as anticipated?

The strategy we hear from the national authorities seems to be that we can flatten the curve and "hold the line" against the virus until we get a vaccine. The message is that we can hold it off by social distancing, etc. Is this realistic or is it inevitable that 60-70 percent of the population will be infected?

So...what about getting back to working in the office?

For those of us who have numbers of people who are not connected to the internet, what options are there for worship, pastoral care, etc.?
