Marti Ilg
32:26
This is what people often refer to as disaster billing, incentive payments or ECCP
Marti Ilg
33:05
50% through August
Marti Ilg
33:32
for cost share July - August
Marc
34:11
Is the 50% cost share billable for children who are not attending?
Early Learning NH
36:10
Hi Rebecca, can you tell us how many children are being served, you may be getting to that. Thank You. Julie McConnell
Janell Davis
36:36
if ECCP funding is ending, does that mean ECCP care is ending?
Alyssa Lavoie
36:54
I never even thought to ask for funds to hold spots for scholarship kids who are not currently attending.
Kim McKenney
37:46
Easterseals asked for funds to reserve spots
Janell Davis
39:14
With that Bei said, does that mean ratios can go back to normal?
Janell Davis
41:17
we would keep the groups and not intermingle, my supervisor is curious if we can up our up our numbers and keeping them in their groups.
Alyssa Lavoie
41:27
It looks like the Taskforce is looking at loosening current child care guidelines in the coming weeks with possibly increasing numbers (maybe 15?) and a little more wiggle room with combining early or later in the day
Cellissa Hoyt, Early Learning NH
41:40
A program shared on a call just prior to this that they have siblings in multiple classrooms so overlap exists
Jackie Cowell, Early Learning NH
43:29
email eccp@dhhs.nh.gov if you did not realize you could ask for $ in your CCRSP application to reserve slots for your child care scholarship children not in attendance, but would like to make that ask
Janell Davis
44:58
we keep siblings in the same group
pamela meaney
46:42
Do we know how many child care spaces were available before COVID_19?
Laura Elliott Johnson
47:26
do we know just how many children were being served late February?
Alyssa Lavoie
48:00
So there are only 335 open who did not apply?
Lynn Ouellette
48:02
Are 218 currently open and operating
Alyssa Lavoie
50:25
Didn’t mean to say “only”. It looks like there are 335 programs open, but didn’t apply but it sounds like its not an apples to apples # comparison due to multiple sites counted in one number but not in the other.
pamela meaney
50:39
I am just trying to r=wrap my head around the numbers.
pamela meaney
51:13
Am I correct that there are only 1101 spaces available at his time?
Marti Ilg
51:42
Within these programs, yes.
Marti Ilg
52:44
Thank you - less to read too :)
amanda
52:55

53:12

Marti Ilg
01:01:23
You can operate without being an ECCP
Marti Ilg
01:01:48
You just can't get funds
Marti Ilg
01:02:16
And you can be an ECCP without being licensed
sue@acornschoolnh.com
01:02:21
Marty - would we have heard if our application was not complete at this point?
Marti Ilg
01:02:39
No
Marti Ilg
01:02:57
not necessarily
Linda Tremblay
01:03:03

Maureen Salo
01:19:44
Thank you Chris, for advocating for us all!! Is there anything providers can do to help with the effort to increase group sizes?
Alyssa Lavoie
01:20:27
Federally, it looks like the house just passed the next stimulus round including hazard pay for frontline workers, but it wasn’t clear from what I read if child care workers were included.
Alyssa Lavoie
01:20:45
Yes, the Heroes ACT
Janell Davis
01:21:14
child care should be
Cellissa Hoyt, Early Learning NH
01:22:49
If the CCRSP applications and request totals far exceed the available $20M, are there advocacy steps to take to see if more funding can be made available?
Jennifer Briggs
01:24:14

Claire Doody
01:27:55

Janell Davis
01:28:04
What about outside visitors? Do they need to wait a few days before going to next group?
Shannon
01:28:10
We have a large water container with a faucet. The kids fill buckets and play drip drip drop, or sand toys for a mud kitchen

We are concerned about the PPP information and the FTE requirements, because we are staffing up still and may not ever need the original staff volume. Will some of this be adderessed in the PPP call?

I'm having trouble hiring someone who can hold the qualification of Lead Teacher and who can be "alone" with the children. We hired a person with a bachelors degree in environmental science but is an Associate. I feel like licensing needs to revise this or create waivers during this time to allow for staff to take sick days. Before COVID- it was impossible to find a sub and even more so now. This is especially an issue in Northern NH.
Darlene Cordaro
01:42:06
