Ellen Dietrick
49:33
Lois- I will tell you that we will be using every inch of space to divide children into smaller groups but we may have to reduce the number of children enrolled.
Denise Moyes Schnur
49:40
Thanks Ellen- really helpful
Anna Hartman
50:42
<We will share out all of the notes from the chat after the call—don’t work if you can’t read it all now!>
Beth Helmey
51:01
Monica, your webinars have been so great. So many of our teachers are enjoying them and learning to embrace nature!
Deborah Moukit
51:25
Ellen, does your program offer swim for the summer?
Ellen Dietrick
51:40
Jean Losek- For me it means that we have a plan in place to minimize risk to our educators and our children. There is no way to guarantee no one will be infected. This is the case with every virus, even the ones with vaccines.
Ellen Dietrick
52:55
Abby- For staffing we are thinking about 7-8 children per teacher (rather than 2 teachers with 15-16 children). Breaks and planning time are a challenge. I am thinking that we will have to do it before and after school. I don’t think we will bring in other teachers/sub if we can avoid it
Sasha Kopp
53:43
If you have specific questions for Monica please add them to the Q+A! Thank you!
Ellen Dietrick
53:45
Deborah- We are cancelling swim this summer. The CDC says no field trips and our pool is not on site. We will also not do wading pools this summer. Sprinklers all the way!
Cherene Radis
54:05
same here
Deborah Moukit
54:34
Up to what age is the program?

Check out the ClearMask . I think it was designed by a college student for the hearing impaired. Here's a link to someone who formalized it https://www.theclearmask.com/product
Ellen Dietrick
55:10
For masks for teachers we are playing around with the hats with clear shields like these. https://www.saintchic.com/products/2020-new-anti-fog-hats-men-women-dust-protection-bucket-hat-female-outdoor-travel-uv-protect-fisherman-hats-and-sun-caps?variant=31644420702273&currency=USD&utm_campaign=gs-2018-07-31&utm_source=google&utm_medium=smart_campaign&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIpL-O_4Cb6QIV7MuGCh1BigBmEAQYAyABEgJYv_D_BwE

Shellie
01:11:28
Thank you Noah, so important to hear a clear articulation of the value we bring to the children and their families that we must keep reiterating to parents. Keep articulating the Jewish values and the outcomes we except for children - that hasn't changed.
Early Childhood
01:11:43
Green may turn to a bit of lime - a combination of green and yellow.
Sasha Kopp
01:13:21
If anyone has questions for Noah feel free to add it in the Q+A!
Early Childhood
01:13:26
We grow from adversity. We won't be the same. Noah's comment about "after 9-11" or "after school violence" brings me back to those pivotal changes in our societal norms.
Faye Tonkonogy
01:13:43

Israel is doing A B days
Ellen Dietrick
01:16:20
Many of our schools already have children who come less than 5 days per week so the A/B schedule is already a concept

01:16:56
Rebecca- they will need another plan for the other days
