I'm wondering why your consensus was that prize money isn't needed for Virtual Competitions?

I see that for livestock shows, but prize money could be offered for exhibit competitions.

Prize money can still be given if you do virtual exhibits

For our fair it's an issue of budget and sponsorship. We want to make sure we can maintain a healthy cash flow for the year.

Who is using AssistExpo? I'd like to chat about costs, features and utility

Ribbons & Rosettes can still be given if you do virtual as well. Winners could pick them up

Online shows are not going to attract anywhere the number of entries according to my discussions with exhibitors and I have been on the phone for the last week

I haven't heard many people have great success with entering via Assist Expo

once one gets use using assist expo it becomes quite easy and is a great tool easing the load of our secretary. it becomes a problem for those who do not have access to computers.

I have been using AssistExpo for years as a parent of 4Hers and also as the office administrator of the fair. This program has not ever given me troubles doing my personal entries or accepting entries for our fair and other shows we host

Does assist expo integrate with Wordpress or is it separate?

Yes, AssistExpo has a module for WordPress; it allows to bring content from AssistExpo directly to your Wordpress website.

we are planning a barn quilt driving tour

what does a barn quilt driving tour entail? Sounds interesting

We are going to have addresses of local families that have barn quilts up (a map essentially) so that people can drive around and see them. We are going to have a little write up for each one about the family, who made it and what their inspiration was.

this is not specific to "Fairs" events, but our Ag Soeciety has a large group of memebers sewing masks for local businesses, Lng term care facilities, the hospital etc ...Great community engagement

we are looking at doing an award for "local hero" like we would have done a volunteer of the year
