01:18:31
How we do we tackle the huge culture shift Raj

01:18:48
I'm interested to know what the objectives for the ICB's AI programme are - perhaps they're coming later in more depth?

01:19:41
I've heard of a concept called "The Iceberg of Ignorance" - those "at the top" know 4% of the problems. Those "at the bottom" know the problems, possibly know the solutions but have "no power"...….

01:20:16
You made reference throughout to the ICB - what do you see as the role of the ICP in this?

01:20:17
How much leeway will there be to invest upfront in schemes to improve people's lives and opportunities - which may have a longer term payback?

01:20:24
Do you have people with lived experience sitting on the ICB?

01:20:31
How do we balance the high demand on current services with investing in prevention?

01:21:03
How do organisations sign up to become an Anchor institute? ⚓

01:21:28
Do we have the confidence to invest in prevention when we know that the outcomes are often far into the future?

01:21:30
I think the issue of culture change is really important but also how can we ensure that organisations don't ask for qualifications that are really not needed for certain jobs. People from certain communities are excluded through these processes

01:22:40
How will Anchor Institutions engage with longstanding Community Anchor Organisations?

01:32:13
Just a note to add, NWAS (North West Ambulance Service have just achieved our social value award, first ambulance service in the country.

01:33:01
That’s fantastic Dave

01:33:35
Would you expect a tenderer to make a contribution to all three key areas of social value for every contract?

01:35:32
Thinking about procurement, Katy, how can providers ensure they are sighted on local procurement opportunities through the Anchor Institution? Are tenders offered on the standard online portals, and/or will there be a dynamic purchasing system or framework agreement for any services?

01:37:46
Thanks Katy, is the SV Unit you refer to just to support providers / commissioners in Cheshire East or across Cheshire and Mersey - is it something that will link to the ICS plans, for example and if so do you know how?

01:37:57
@Dale - we don't mandate that all three areas of SV are addressed, more important to us is that the SV contribution is meaningful and impact can be evidenced on communities

01:40:34
@Kate - currently Cheshire East only but I'm hoping that the evaluation of our pilot will demonstrate how successful the model is locally, so keen to share best practice and learning - watch this space!

01:41:20
on the above, we are really keen that (once evaluated) this becomes a system offer

01:41:32
Does the commitment to the real living wage extend to insisting that this is paid when tendering?

01:42:13
Thank-you @Katy.

01:44:37
Does the pledge to employ and purchase locally mean that locally based organisations are given an advantage in tendering against external competitors? If staff TUPE across then the local employment requirement is satisfied, even if this is a organisation based in London, for example.

01:46:23
Thanks Becky - really exciting to see all of this finally coming together. Looking forward to seeing uptake from organisations across the system

02:04:53
We all have 100,000s opportunities to identify people with cold/damp homes and a lack of access to a hot meal each day. What do we say to them each time they come into contact with an anchor institution?

02:05:44
… and how do you resource it?

02:07:07
Hi Sue be good to catch up, that and many more questions we are asking ourselves through signing up to this approach

02:07:58
If we have chance to input earlier, it would reduce the need to challenge and move us forward more quickly? With decision making unclear how can we do this so constructive and enabling change? Where/how can we create structured SV consideration in every decision?

02:13:42
We must make sure we don't slip - great message Ngunan.

02:14:26
Just having you on board is fabulous

02:14:36
Thank you Ngunan.

02:14:48
you must stay with us Ngunan, great experiences and insight which can help us.

02:15:17
I know you surround yourself with good people, we need to open our arms to a broader family

02:15:19
Making no assumptions and making sure voices are heard to drive change.

02:15:32
Ngunan - any thought on how we can maintain momentum?

02:16:00
Anchor Organisations have existed, all over the country, for many years. Have any of those organisations been consulted? Have any of these be engaged in discussions?

02:16:14
*been

02:16:51
Not a question, more of a comment: I think it will take a big cultural shift to see these positive changes in place and to 'not slip', and it might be a balance between trust and adequate oversight / monitoring. We must not slip, AND it might be helpful to keep the bureaucracy as low as possible

02:17:39
Hi Gareth, your right and its building on the existing work, we really want to avoid duplication

02:19:30
Gemma - trust in what we're doing being right, trust in how diff orgs work. Trust is so key.

02:20:10
It's also important to value what is good and not discard it in pursuit of cost-cutting presented as the pursuit of innovation.

02:21:55
can you repeat the email addresss please

02:22:16
thank you

02:23:26
so as part of signing up do you lay out what what your organisation is committing to doing? or general principles only, sorry if I missed that

02:23:33
Yes @Hannah and @Dale - completely agree. I am hopeful that we are a group of like-minded people pursuing the same aim to serve our communities better. Let's trust each other in doing what is right and good, and let's have a culture of holding ourselves to account so that this doesn't end up with more time being spent rather than making progress

02:25:30

02:25:53
well done Dave...you've been a champion for this for so long...
