Hi Bill, Greg and all
Just to confirm - IF man accepts God's offer THEN God is conciliated to man. So, I take it, God is NOT conciliated to the whole WORLD. Do I have that correct?
Regarding 2 Cor 5:18. Do you disagree with the Concordant version using the word “conciliating” instead of “reconciling”? (It makes sense to me that IF we accept God’s offer THEN we are Reconciled. I find it hard to understand that God is conciliated to EVERYONE in the world. I don’t know how that applies in the real world. Would that mean God is conciliated to Hitler? How is that so?)
But is there not a difference between OFFERING conciliation and BEING conciliated?
Where does it say that the Holy Spirit Convicts members of the Body of Christ.
The conscience is not the Holy Spirit.
Thank you Bill
